Concealed Carry Class Details

Class is a 1-day class. $150

Students should arrive at range office about 8:15am to sign range waiver and watch a brief safety video.

Students should be at the instruction site and ready to learn at 9:00am. The Class is usually over around 3:00pm (plus or minus 30 minutes).

This class (6 hrs.) is taught by a Texas State License To Carry Instructor, and covers all the basics of carrying a pistol concealed. This isn’t an LTC Class but we will discuss everything from the laws involved, to the appropriate holsters, to the logistics of carrying in public and in vehicles. Of course, we also do extensive training in firing the weapon as well as drawing and firing from concealment.

Concealed Carry Class Details

We will teach all the shooting fundamentals necessary to be proficient in carrying your weapon in a concealed manner, including safe carry, rapid draw from concealment, sight and target acquisition, and placing accurate and effective fire on target.

For those with red dot sights, we will teach you how to “find your dot” in the course of drawing your weapon so it will become second nature. The same is true for iron sight shooters, but typically, sight acquisition isn’t a problem for you.

In addition to the above, our expert instructors will guide you in rapid fire drills, multiple target transitions, quick mag changes, malfunction clearing, and moving while shooting. We will be shooting from various positions, including shooting from laying on our back, seated in a chair, and from a driver’s seat of a vehicle. As many realistic scenarios as possible will be addressed in the course of the class.

This isn’t a ‘Beginners” course, but if you can draw and reholster safely, you should be fine to take this class.

This course offers a full day of instruction and hands-on guidance, as well as a lot of skill drills and heavy shooting throughout the day. If you carry now, or wish to start carrying, you need to attend this class. For just $150 (plus $25 range fee for nonmembers), this is an incredible value in a top-rated class that you’ll be glad you took advantage of.
