The Steel Master Course is 4hrs and is for shooters who enjoy shooting steel targets, are wanting to learn more about competitive shooting, or just want to improve speed and overall shooting skills. This isn't a "beginner's" class, but if you can operate your firearm safely and can competently draw from a holster, and you can perform mag changes, you're probably fine to attend. Safety is always our biggest concern.

Every aspect of your shooting game will dramatically improve in this action-packed and exiting class. Join us for our next class and become a true "Steel Master"!

Pistol "Steel Master"

The course focuses on fast, efficient, and effective draws from either an OWB (outside the waist band) or an IWB (inside the waist band) holster, rapid and smooth target acquisition, faster transitions on multiple targets, increasing follow-up shot speeds with better trigger manipulation, quick mag changes, and footwork while moving between targets.
We will be shooting a wide variety of steel targets and devices like the double star, Texas star, plate racks, dueling tree, poppers, hostage style targets, and an assortment of steel plate type targets.
The pistol bay will be set up in competition style stages where the class will shoot the various stages with the guidance of expert instructors, using a timer and a preset scoring system. The class itself isn't an actual competition, but rather is designed to use competition methods to increase student performance. There's a solid chance that there will be a friendly competition with a prize or two at the end.
