51.1 Close Quarters Battle - CQB/CQC

CQB Instructors

At 10am, you begin.

RangeWalls
You will start the course with a live-fire exercise, and then we will move to the shoot house to begin to apply all of the concepts learned in the initial phase.

You will be issued simulated weapons that feel and operate very similarly to the real thing. These are high quality GBB Rifles. If you have one of your own, feel free to bring it, but you will be responsible for keeping it running.

Once you are traversing the course and have solidified the concepts, you will enter the force-on-force phase of the training in which the adrenaline, pressure, and sensory overload will become a serious factor. Smoke and Flash Bangs amp up the confusion.

Once teams are proficient in movement, tactics, and weapons management, they’ll begin entry drills where hostage targets and regular IPSC targets will be engaged, along with decision making when engaging “no shoot” targets.

This flagship 8-hour course, developed and taught by international trainer Gary Gotidoc, is the most realistic and intense close-quarters training we have ever offered at Viking Tactical.

CQB takes you from brief live-fire drills into a full portable shoot house where you will train team tactics, dynamic and explosive entry, structure clearing, and force-on-force scenarios. Using top-tier airsoft rifles and pistols that closely match real weapon weight, recoil, and sound, you will stack up, move under stress, engage hostage and threat targets, and make critical shoot/no-shoot decisions while experiencing smoke, flashbangs, and true sensory overload.
This is high-adrenaline, team-based training that bridges the gap between flat range practice and real-world application — all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
