Pistol 3 Class Details<\/h2>\n\n

Class is a 1-day class. $150<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n

Range Fee $25<\/a><\/p>\n\n

Students should arrive at range office about 8:15am to sign range waiver and watch a brief safety video.<\/a><\/p>\n\n

Students should be at the instruction site and ready to learn at 9:00am. The Class is usually over around 4:00pm (plus or minus 30 minutes).<\/a><\/p>\n

No course prerequisites for advanced classes, but you should be an intermediate or higher level shooter. So what is an “intermediate level” shooter? Can you safely draw from a holster and shoot? Can you shoot double taps with a reasonable degree of accuracy? Can you perform rapid mag changes? If your answer is yes, then you are fine to attend the Advanced course. If you’re unsure if this class is right for you, please call us at 1-800-580-9144 and we’ll talk through it with you. The point is, you don’t have to already be an advanced shooter to attend our advanced classes. Attending advanced level training is how you become an advanced shooter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Pistol 3 (Advanced)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nPistol 3 is our most advanced pistol class. This class uses training techniques and drills that when mastered, put the student on par with ESPSA Class “B” shooter. The standards used are slightly higher level than Naval Special Warfare training metrics. Students will engage targets at longer distances, with great accuracy and precision requirements, coupled with lower time standards. This makes this our most challenging course yet. The course goal is to teach students the necessary skill levels required to attain total mastery of the Pistol.\n\n

Drill 1 – TBA<\/p>\n\n\n

AAR<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Pistol w\/ IWB or OWB holster (rentals available for $20\/day)<\/p>\n\n\n

Belt, or Duty Belt (some method of holding holster and mags)<\/p>\n\n

Minimum of 2 mags but 3 mags preferred.<\/p>\n\n

300 Pistol Rounds<\/p>\n\n\n

Ear & Eye Protection<\/p>\n\n\n

Speed loader if you have one<\/p>\n\n\n

Pen and Notepad<\/p>\n\n\n

Range appropriate clothing with closed-toed\u00a0 shoes.<\/p>\n\n\n

Hat<\/p>\n\n\n

Sunscreen\/bug spray<\/p>\n\n\n

Chair<\/p>\n\n\n

Water, Drinks, Lunch, Snacks (we have a lot to teach, so we eat on the fly)<\/p>\n\n\n

Rain gear in case of inclement weather (we do use pop-up conapies).<\/p>\n\n\n

Bring an attitude of excitement, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
