Advanced Carbine\/Pistol Class Details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n

Class is a 1-day class. $200.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Drawing from years of Ranger, Marine, Law-enforcement and Competitive Shooting knowledge and experience, we have put together a realistic training program that will undoubtedly help you see improvements.  <\/p>\n\n

No course prerequisites for advanced classes, but you should be an intermediate or higher level shooter. So what is an “intermediate level” shooter? Can you safely draw from a holster and shoot? Can you shoot double taps with a reasonable degree of accuracy? Can you perform rapid mag changes? If your answer is yes, then you are fine to attend the Advanced course. If you’re unsure if this class is right for you, please call us at 1-800-580-9144 and we’ll talk through it with you. The point is, you don’t have to already be an advanced shooter to attend our advanced classes. Attending advanced level training is how you become an advanced shooter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Advanced Carbine\/Pistol<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nT<\/span>he Advanced Carbine\/Pistol Course is designed to challenge and refine student\u2019s skills with both primary and secondary weapons. Both weapons become part of a fluid system and students will hone their transition skills as they switch between the two in multiple advanced level drills.<\/span> \n
\n\n\n\n

Emphasis is placed on movement to and from cover while firing both weapons, using various positions, employing multiple structures, and engaging multiple targets in a variety of situations. Students will be tested using the U.S. Special Forces Critical Tasks Evaluation Test.<\/span> \n
<\/p>\n\n\nA number of highly advanced level drills will be used initially, then we will transition into individual movement through a complex course of fire. Then, we will do some team movement drills under fire<\/span>.<\/span><\/span> \n
\n\n\n\nWe complete the day with our Advanced Level O-Course that will use every skill learned, and provide the most challenging shooting experience most students will ever have<\/span>.<\/span>

If there is something you don’t have, let us know. We have loaner gear for most things you’ll need.<\/span><\/p>\n

Carbine Rifle w\/ Sling (AR’s, PCC’s, AK’s, etc)<\/p>\n

Pistol w\/ IWB or OWB holster<\/p>\n

Kit – Such as Plate Carriers, Battle Belt, Duty Belt, Chest Rig (some method of holding mags). We have loaner battle belts for most sizes.<\/b><\/p>\n\n

Minimum of 3 mags per weapon is preferred.<\/p>\n\n

320 – 400 Carbine Rounds (you can get by with less if necessary), NO GREEN TIPS, 55gr only, per range rules.<\/p>\n

150 – 250 Pistol Rounds (minimum 100. more is always better, but don’t sweat it if you are a little short)<\/p>\n

Ear & Eye Protection<\/p>\n

Optional: Elbow and Knee Pads (helps a lot)<\/p>\n\n

Pen and Notepad<\/p>\n\n\n

Range appropriate clothing with closed-toed  shoes.<\/p>\n\n\n

Hat<\/p>\n\n\n

Sunscreen\/bug spray<\/p>\n\n\n

Chair<\/p>\n\n\n

Gun Cleaning Kit<\/p>\n\n\n

Speed loader if you have one, we load a lot of mags.<\/p>\n\n\n

Water, Drinks, Lunch, Snacks (we have a lot to teach, so we eat on the fly)<\/p>\n\n\n

Bring an attitude of excitement, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Note: If you don’t have some of the gear required, please let us know.  We have rentals, spares and loaners available.
